Thank you everyone for your hard work, your enthusiasm and your continued support.
On Wednesday we will be doing a class quiz to celebrate all the lovely things that we have learnt these past 5 weeks! Please can parents be present for the quiz as pupils will need help writing down their answers and it will be a fun activity to do as a family!
The sun with loving light
Makes bright for me each day.
The soul with spirit power gives strength unto my limbs.
In sunlight shining clear,
I reverence oh God,
The strength of humankind
That thou so graciously has planted in my soul
That I, with all my might,
May love to work and learn.
From thee come light and strength,
To thee rise love and thanks.
I go up and I go down,
And sometimes I wear a white top.
I don't last long but I come back,
And no one can make me stop.
I live in the dark
And rarely come out.
I'm long and round
As I dig all about.
You can't hear me talk,
Though you can see me walk.
I walk just like you.
I look just like you.
I move just like you,
But we are two!
Betty Botter bought a bit of butter;
“But,” she said, “this butter's bitter!
If I put it in my batter
It will make my batter bitter.
But a bit o’ better butter
Will make my batter better.”
Then she bought a bit o’ butter
Better than the bitter butter,
Made her bitter batter better.
So ’twas better Betty Botter
Bought a bit o’ better butter.
