Welcome everyone!
In the coming weeks we will be learning many exciting new things! Unfortunately it won't be in the classroom. We don't know how long we will have to work online but we will simply do the best we can!
Guidance
The main part of the teaching will be during our daily online lessons at 11am, but I will upload all sorts here to help and support you at home.
During this first week our focus will be on literacy revision.
Please use the pink books for work that I set. The little red book is for letter practice. The yellow book is for 'free' work that the children might want to do and then show me.
A lovely thing that you could do at home with your children is to make a winter nature table. There are plenty of image ideas online if you search for 'Waldorf winter nature table'.
I am available for 1 to 1 meetings in the afternoons. Don't hesitate to ask for one if you have any questions.
It does not work singing all together on an online meeting so I have recorded myself singing some lovely winter songs for you to sing as a family. You can find the audio files in 'Week 1'.
Go have a look! Have a go! Have fun!
All the best,
Lucy
“Our highest endeavour must be to develop free human beings who are able of themselves to impart purpose and direction to their lives. The need for imagination, a sense of truth, and a feeling of responsibility—these three forces are the very nerve of education.”
Rudolf Steiner
